A new ancient-DNA survey of human remains from nine southern-Levantine sites indicates that present-day Jewish and Arabic-speaking communities typically derive at least fifty per cent of their genomes from Bronze Age inhabitants of the region who shared a common “Canaanite” material culture.
The authors extracted and analysed genome-wide data from seventy-three newly sampled individuals—dating between roughly 2400 BCE and 900 BCE—and combined them with twenty previously published genomes, creating a dataset of ninety-three ancient people. Comparative modelling shows that almost all can be described as a mixture of earlier Neolithic villagers of the Levant and migrants related to populations of the Zagros Mountains or the Caucasus, with the non-local component gradually increasing through the Middle and Late Bronze Age.

And this is when a Canaanite woman um interacts with Jesus. We read this in a prior sermon. We should read it again. says this, "And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, have mercy on me, Lord, son of David. My daughter is cruy demon-possessed, but he did not answer her a word." And I pointed this out in that first sermon that Jesus behaves completely different actually with this woman and with Herod than he does anybody else in the New Testament biblical narrative. He doesn't even want to talk, right?
And a Canaanite woman came and he wouldn't even answer her a word. But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and implored him, saying, "Send her away because she keeps shouting at us." But he answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." So he responds to her after not after ignoring her, he then responds to her and he says, "I'm only here for the people of the house of Israel."
This isn't even how he talked to the Roman centurion or anybody else. He talks to this one. He won't answer her. And then he says, "I'm only here for Israelites." Verse 25, "But she came and began to bow down before him, saying, Lord, help me." And he answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs on his on the third interaction."
The first interaction, no words. Second interaction, I'm only here for Israel. Third interaction, you Canaanites are dogs.
Jacob have I loved. Esau have I hated. Now this woman has so much faith in the Lord Jesus that he ends up healing her daughter. She humbles herself before him. She recognizes even her bloodline and she has humility and God shows her mercy. I believe that's what happened with Uriah the Hitittite and with other Canaanite bloodlines in scripture, - all people can be saved -.
And for those who were commenting that not everybody can be saved, the scriptures absolutely teach they can. Paul writes to Timothy that God wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Peter writes, "God is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance." So, anyone can be saved. And even this story is proof, this story is proof of it because this woman, her faith actually results in her receiving the blessing of Jesus. Let's read that part. Verse 27. But she said, "Yes, Lord, but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their master's table." She recognizes her history. She's humble. She's not trying to be like, "How dare you?" She's like, "I understand who my people are." Verse 28.
- Then Jesus said to her, "Oh woman, your faith is great. It shall be done for you as you wish." And her daughter was healed at once. That's the love of God demonstrated even to his enemies when they come to him in faith.
Hallelujah. Now, I didn't point this out in the other sermon, but Jesus acts the same way toward Herod, which proves what's written in Josephus, that this man was an Edomite, a Canaanite. Go to Luke 13:31.

That's 10 prophets. Okay, so there's 10 prophets that say some very substantial things about the antichrist and the day of the Lord and the return of Jesus Christ for the second advent. Each of the prophecies, okay, from these prophets indicate the nations, all of them indicate the nations gathered to attack Jerusalem and ultimately Jesus returns to judge all nations. That's a common theme in all of it. Okay?

Daniel 11 sheds some additional light that some of the other prophets don't give us on the antichrist uh being attacked by armies of nations from the north and the south. So in other words, nations both north and south of Israel create armies to go and attack Jerusalem. This is during the antichrist. This we're not talking about the the battle of Armageddon uh you know at the end of the millennial kingdom. We're talking about antichrist period of time. It's in Daniel 11.
It's in the others as well like Zechariah 14. This is likely due to growing disenchantment. Listen, with the mark of the beast, the commerce system that the antichrist forces on the whole world. So this is likely a result of the mark of the beast being poured or or being taken by the majority of the world. The faithful to Christ don't take it but the majority of the world do. There's this commerce system. Now if you understand anything about the or the Canaanite Jews, it's that they are involved in commerce deeply.

So God gathers the nations against Jerusalem. And you see this in Daniel 11. So these nations get judged by Jesus as well, but there's this growing resistance to the Antichrist because he's so oppressive, especially in commerce. He overthrows the antichrist. He also judges these nations. His feet stand on the Mount of Olives. Verse 9 says this, "And the Lord will be king over all the earth. In that day, the Lord will be the only one and his name the only one." So in other words, the true Christ comes and reigns on the earth. But here's a key piece of information at the end.

If you understand the prophet Ezekiel, you know that he prophesied a third temple that's never been built. Well, what are the Canaanite Edomite Jews in Israel trying to do right now? build the third temple. Look into it. They're trying to build the third temple. All of Zionism wants to build a third temple. So, Zechariah indicates to us that the Canaanites will be operating in the house of the Lord at the time of Jesus's return. And he will drive them out the same way he drove out the money changers.

But on Mount Zion, there will be those who escape and it will be holy. And the house of Jacob will possess their possessions. The house of Jacob will go to Mount Zion. In other words, they're not there yet. And Jeremiah 3 makes that clear as well. They're not there yet. And they'll possess their possessions. They'll take hold of Zion. Then the house of Jacob will be a fire and the house of Joseph of flame, but the house of Esau will be as stubble. So, Jacob and Joseph, the true Israelites, return and defeat Esau, and they will set them on fire and consume them so that there will be no survivor of the house of Esau. Now, if you're in Christ, you're a new creature.
You're the you actually become the house of Israel. So, again, or, you know, descendants of Esau can be saved. But if you don't give your life to Christ, you remain the house of Esau. There'll be no survivor of the house of Esau in the end. So don't worry, Epstein and this cabal gets their justice. Even if you don't see it in your lifetime, they will get justice. For the Lord has spoken. In other words, he'll do it. Verse 19, then those of the negv will possess the mountain of Esau and those of the uh Shephila, the Philistine plain, and also possess the territory of Ephraim and the territory of Samaria. So the West Bank area. and Benjamin will possess Gilead. And the exiles of this host of the sons of Israel who are among the Canaanites as far as Zerapath and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Chafard will possess the cities of the Ngev. In fact, the uh ESV says it better here.
Verse 20, the exiles of this host of the people of Israel shall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarapath. In other words, they don't possess it yet. They possess it on the day of the Lord. They come and take it.
Okay. Jesus overthrows the antichrist, but true Israel actually participates in the overthrow of Esau. And the exiles of Jerusalem who are on uh Sepharad shall possess the cities of the Ngev. Look at verse 21. This is the key verse that I wanted to get to. Look it. Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the Lord's. Are you hearing that? I'll read it from the NASB. The deliverers will ascend Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Isa. They will ascend Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Isa. People have been confused about this statement. If you go and read people trying to understand what this means, they'll say, "Well, it must mean that they take authority in Jerusalem and then they judge Edom." No, the the mountain, the power structure is on Mount Zion, and they will ascend Mount Zion and conquer it from them, and the kingdom shall be the Lord's.
Yeah. Is that awesome? That's awesome.
The kingdom of Esau possesses Mount Zion until the deliverers come, which is Jesus, the angels, and the true Israelites. To prove that Israel does not become a nation again until the day of the Lord, you can see it again in Jeremiah chapter 3. Let's go to Jeremiah 3:17.

Listen, friends, we can't be lukewarm anymore. We must be zealous and repent and return to a life of faith and obedience. Paul said that in Romans 1. He said that he was anointed by God to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. If you really have faith, then you'll obey the Lord who saved you. Look at the synagogue of Satan. They're obeying Satan. Why would they obey Satan more than you obey Jesus? Why would they be more emphatic and zealous for Satan than you are for Jesus? They don't seem to be arguing about obeying Satan. They obey him no problem. Why are we arguing about whether we should obey God's commandments or not? Stop being lukewarm. Satan's church certainly isn't lukewarm. They're very committed.
They're very effective. We need to be wise as serpents, gentle as doves, understand what they're doing, and get active in obeying the Lord Jesus.

See, right now most people are going to take the mark of the beast because they love their creature comforts. And you cannot buy or sell without the mark of the beast. You have to be in a position that you're so obedient to the Lord that when you can't go to Target anymore. You can't order from Amazon anymore. You can't utilize the market anymore unless you take the beast mark that you reject it and you trust God. You're so obedient that you reject the mark and you trust that God will provide. Yes, Lord. And if you're that kind of person who doesn't love your life even unto death, who can do without, who can go live in the woods if necessary, who can create a farming community if necessary, who will die by beheading, who will go to prison. These are all things listed during the tribulation. If you're that person, you will overcome. But that's going to take a person who starts obeying now before it gets that bad. Obey Jesus now.

1And David sang this song to the LORD on the day the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. 2He said:
“The LORD is my rock,
my fortress, and my deliverer.
3My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation.
My stronghold, my refuge, and my Savior,
4I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
so shall I be saved from my enemies.
5For the waves of death engulfed me;
the torrents of chaos overwhelmed me.
6The cords of Sheol entangled me;
the snares of death confronted me.
7In my distress I called upon the LORD;
I cried out to my God.
And from His temple He heard my voice,
and my cry for help reached His ears.
8Then the earth shook and quaked;
the foundations of the heavensa trembled;
they were shaken because He burned with anger.
9Smoke rose from His nostrils,
and consuming fire came from His mouth;
10He parted the heavens and came down
with dark clouds beneath His feet.

21The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness;
He has repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.
22For I have kept the ways of the LORD
and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23For all His ordinances are before me;
I have not disregarded His statutes.
24And I have been blameless before Him
and kept myself from iniquity.
25So the LORD has repaid me according to my righteousness,
according to my cleanness in His sight.d
26To the faithful You show Yourself faithful,
to the blameless You show Yourself blameless;
27to the pure You show Yourself pure,
but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd.
28You save an afflicted people,
but Your eyes are on the haughty to bring them down.
29For You, O LORD, are my lamp;
the LORD lights up my darkness.
30For in You I can charge an army;
with my God I can scale a wall.
31As for God, His way is perfect;
the word of the LORD is flawless.
He is a shield to all
32For who is God besides the LORD?
And who is the Rock except our God?
33God is my strong fortress,
34He makes my feet like those of a deer
and stations me upon the heights.
35He trains my hands for battle;
my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
36You have given me Your shield of salvation,

so that my ankles do not give way.
38I pursued my enemies and destroyed them;
I did not turn back until they were consumed.
39I devoured and crushed them so they could not rise;
they have fallen under my feet.
40You have armed me with strength for battle;
You have subdued my foes beneath me.
41You have made my enemies retreat before me;
I destroyed those who hated me.
42They looked, but there was no one to save them—
to the LORD, but He did not answer.
43I ground them as the dust of the earth;
I crushed and trampled them like mud in the streets.
44You have delivered me from the strife of my people;
You have preserved me as the head of nations;
a people I had not known shall serve me.
45Foreigners cower before me;
when they hear me, they obey me.
46Foreigners lose heart
and come tremblingf from their strongholds.
47The LORD lives, and blessed be my Rock!
And may God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted—
48the God who avenges me
and brings down nations beneath me,
49who frees me from my enemies.
You exalt me above my foes;
You rescue me from violent men.
50Therefore I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations;
I will sing praises to Your name.g
51Great salvation He brings to His king.
He shows loving devotion to His anointed,
to David and his descendants forever.”

He is a refuge and a mighty tower and gives us victory over all of our enemies. And those who put their trust in him along with David receive the same victory David did.
