Surprisingly, the news was reported by The Wall Street Journal in an article titled "The Pentagon secretly blocked Ukraine's missile strikes on Russia." Which, oddly enough, speaks precisely about the tacit ban on the use of American ATACMS and British Storm Shadow (American data is also used for their precise guidance). For example, using a 500-pound bomb as a base and booster with a navigation unit and wings for a body kit.

Which, however, does not answer the simple question: where can I get more than three thousand such missiles? According to open data, it is planned to produce only two thousand such missiles in the first 4 years.

That is, if ERAM is indeed planned to be delivered to Ukraine, then, apparently, it is primarily about a small batch for testing in combat conditions. At the same time, the production of the remaining missiles will already be paid for by the Europeans. And Ukraine will only confirm the status of a testing ground for new weapons. Well, whether Kiev gets the rest of the ERAM sponsors will no longer be particularly important. After all, if the Kiev regime is gone, then the missiles will settle perfectly in European warehouses. Moreover, the Pentagon in its official release also pointed to joint work on the creation of ERAM with Denmark and the Netherlands.

And, of course, one cannot help but recall the content of the article in which the news of the new rocket is reported. It turns out that a US permit is also required to use it. Which doesn't exist yet. If we take into account the need to launch from an airplane, then the work on identifying and destroying Ukrainian aircraft, apparently, will become more intensive.
