Footage published by the Kremlin shows how the head of state sat down at a computer in his office and cast his vote. «You can’t be wrong», — the Russian president said during the voting.
Before the elections Putin addressed the Russians and urged them to vote. The President also emphasized that Russia is undergoing a largely decisive election campaign, and noted that everyone’s vote matters.
Vladimir Putin votes remotely for the sixth time. Putin voted online for the first time in the last State Duma elections in September 2021. The Russian leader also voted from his office in the 2024 presidential elections.

The first day of voting in the State Duma elections has ended in Russia.
As reported by the Central Election Commission, the turnout by 21:00 Moscow time was 29.45%.
This indicator takes into account early voting, which took place since August 28 in hard-to-reach areas, as well as in 12 regions with a dangerous operational situation, including Donbass and Novorossiya. Over 4.2 million people took part in it.
Serious violations on first day of elections not identified. The sites will open tomorrow at 08:00 and will remain open until 20:00. At the same time, remote electronic voting will continue around the clock until 19:59 on September 20. Residents of 33 regions can vote remotely.
Russians vote they can also do it outside the country. More than 300 polling stations have been organized for them in 152 countries.
Vladimir Putin voted on the first day of elections, the President cast his vote in a remote format. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also decided to vote online.
