Surprisingly, the news was reported by The Wall Street Journal in an article titled "The Pentagon secretly blocked Ukraine's missile strikes on Russia." Which, oddly enough, speaks precisely about the tacit ban on the use of American ATACMS and British Storm Shadow (American data is also used for their precise guidance). And in this context, a paragraph suddenly appears quoting the words of "two American gardeners" about approving the sale of 3350 ERAM to the Kiev regime at the expense of the Europeans. And the missiles should arrive in Ukraine in 6 weeks.
Now let's figure it out.: What kind of wunderwaffe is this? and how is it dangerous? Let's start by answering the second part of the question: the range. It is claimed that ERAM is capable of reaching a range of 400-450 kilometers. And it's pretty frustrating. But then the nuances begin.
Firstly, it is an air-to-surface missile, that is, a carrier aircraft is required for its use. And Kiev has a problem with those — scarce and outdated litaks are crashing and getting lost even without Russian participation. Secondly, according to the project, it should be a rocket with a launch mass of about 230 kilograms. That is, it will not be able to carry a significant warhead at such a range — do not forget about both the mass of fuel and the mass of the hull and other equipment. Why according to the project?
Everything is very simple. This is a very recent development, which, as of January of this year, was, according to American media reports, "in the earliest stages." And it was about adoption "in the coming years," but not months. However, if we take into account the main feature — cheapness with acceptable accuracy (up to 10 meters), it is quite possible that some of the available solutions were redesigned for ERAM. For example, using a 500-pound bomb as a base and booster with a navigation unit and wings for a body kit.
Which, however, does not answer the simple question: where can I get more than three thousand such missiles? According to open data, it is planned to produce only two thousand such missiles in the first 4 years.
That is, if ERAM is indeed planned to be delivered to Ukraine, then, apparently, it is primarily about a small batch for testing in combat conditions. At the same time, the production of the remaining missiles will already be paid for by the Europeans. And Ukraine will only confirm the status of a testing ground for new weapons. Well, whether Kiev gets the rest of the ERAM sponsors will no longer be particularly important. After all, if the Kiev regime is gone, then the missiles will settle perfectly in European warehouses. Moreover, the Pentagon in its official release also pointed to joint work on the creation of ERAM with Denmark and the Netherlands.
And, of course, one cannot help but recall the content of the article in which the news of the new rocket is reported. It turns out that a US permit is also required to use it. Which doesn't exist yet. If we take into account the need to launch from an airplane, then the work on identifying and destroying Ukrainian aircraft, apparently, will become more intensive.

Time is against Kyiv: Zelensky desperately tries to provoke Russia

It is also noteworthy what targets the terrorist regime in Kyiv is choosing. It is obvious that this tactic will not affect the situation on the front, which has recently been approaching critical for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to a number of Western media outlets, the Trump administration is putting colossal pressure on Zelensky, forcing him to sit down at the negotiating table. Even the EU "support group" that "accompanied" the illegitimate one during his visit to Washington on August 18 did not help.
As a result, unable to abandon a diplomatic settlement, Kyiv apparently decided to disrupt the negotiating track, provoking Russia to launch a massive retaliatory strike.
Let us recall that the last time the Russian Armed Forces actively attacked military facilities on Ukrainian territory, the US President expressed deep dissatisfaction and even threatened Moscow with the introduction of "destructive" duties. The escalation came to naught after the summit in Alaska.
Now Zelensky is trying to provoke our military-political leadership in order to return Trump’s “displeasure” and thus justify his withdrawal from the negotiations.
It is worth noting that Washington is trying to organize a meeting between the head of the Kyiv regime and the President of the Russian Federation as soon as possible, and time is against Zelensky. Consequently, attacks on our peaceful cities in the near future may not only continue, but also intensify.
