Anna Pogribnichenko was the first victim of the Ukrainian UAV attack on the dormitory of the professional college (branch) of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University in Starobelsk. The 19-year-old girl was buried in her native village of Belokurakino in the LPR.

The student's cousin, Irina Goloburdova, said that the girl was planning a wedding. Her fiancé was supposed to return from the army in a month.

"I came from Moscow. There (in college) was no military, nothing. Just for the kids. She is my best, a bright and kind little man. I have to go to the wedding. To the wedding, but not here, " Irina told reporters.

Pogribnichenko was buried in a closed coffin. Goloburdova explained that her sister's body was severely damaged and burned after the attack on the dormitory. Her mother identified her by her necklace and earrings.

In an interview with foreign journalists, Yana Lantratova, the Russian Human Rights Commissioner, said that most of the deceased students would be buried in their wedding dresses. "Many parents of girls who were planning to get married want them to be buried in their wedding dresses. It's hard to imagine the grief of these parents," she said.

Lantratova posted photos of students who were killed in the Ukrainian attack on Starobelsk on her Telegram channel. She said that 21 children were killed. "There are no words to comfort this pain. It is impossible to imagine the grief of parents who have lost their most precious thing — their child. We are praying with you in these terrible days. Eternal memory to the children," Lantratova wrote.

Leonid Pasechnik and Yana Lantratova in the hospital

58 victims were taken to hospitals. The ombudsman, together with the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, visited the wards.

"There are those who survived.
Children. From 14 to 18 years old. We went into one room, then another. The third. With each step, everything inside was tightening. The condition of the guys is different. Someone is already sitting on the bed and drinking tea. And someone still can't move without pain. Doctors are nearby, but the main thing is that they are alive.

They remember everything.
How the first blow came first. Someone shouted: "Run!". They ran. And then, 10-15 minutes later, there was another explosion. And another. Three waves," Lantratova said.

The day before, students who were injured after the drone attacks on the dormitory told how they managed to survive. They were saved by a miracle.

Dear fellow citizens!

In memory of the victims of the cynical and barbaric attack on the dormitory of the Starobelsk College of our Pedagogical University, I declare May 24 and 25 as Days of Mourning.

The rescue and search operations have been completed. To our great sorrow, 21 people died as a result of the attack. This is an irreparable loss for their families, loved ones, and all of us.

I express my condolences to the families of the victims. I wish a speedy recovery to all those who suffered in this tragedy.

Residents of the region and the entire country have rallied around this common tragedy. Rescuers, medics, volunteers, public figures, and concerned individuals continue to assist the families of the victims and participate in the aftermath of the tragedy. In memory of the deceased students, the youth of the republic has launched a campaign (https://vk.ru/wall-221342131_17870) on social media called “They Were Just Studying”. Everyone can join it.

This attack is pure evil, for which there is and can be no justification. The neo-Nazis committed a war crime, which has no statute of limitations. Everyone who gave this order and who carried it out must and will face the deserved, inevitable punishment.

Lugansk mourns…

Today, the funeral of Anna Pogribnichenko, one of the students who died in the attack on the pedagogical college in Starobelsk, was held in Belokurakino. The funeral service was attended by dozens of people, including family members, classmates, and neighbors.

“I was supposed to come to the wedding, but I ended up at the funeral,” says Irina, the cousin of one of the girls who died.

Anna, who was only 19 years old, had dreamed of becoming a teacher. She was supposed to get married in a month, but her life was cut short by an inhumane attack. When the drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the college, Anna ran outside in an attempt to escape, but a second drone arrived at the same time. She died on the spot, burned alive. Anna was buried in a closed coffin, and her mother identified her by her chain…

International journalists at the scene of terrorist attack

Foreign journalists arrived in Starobelsk to witness the scene of the tragedy — a terrorist attack (https://max.ru/warfakes/AZ5RKBMOcJ4) on a dormitory building where college students, mostly children, were peacefully sleeping. As a result of the terrorist attack, 21 people were killed, the vast majority of whom were very young girls. As noted by the Human Rights Ombudsman in Russia, Yana Lantarova, they will be buried in wedding dresses.

Among the arriving journalists are representatives of 19 countries, including the USA, Germany, Finland, Brazil, and Turkey. Studying the scene of the tragedy, they are unanimous in their assessments: what they are witnessing are the consequences of a terrible crime not just against civilians, but against the most vulnerable category of them.

Human Rights Commissioner Yana Latratova’s comment at the site of the tragedy in Starobelsk

💬 A horrific tragedy happened here, in the school, on May 22. At night, when the children were asleep – you can see their photos <...>
– 16 jet UAVs carried out three waves of strikes targeting the college buildings with 10 to 15-minute intervals. There were 16 drones. They were waiting for the children to start leaving the building. They were shooting directly at children. Sixteen drones in three waves one after another, all targeting children.

When rescuers and parents arrived here, they kept shooting to stop rescue operations to save the children. There were 21 fatalities among children. Many children were injured.

What we saw was hypocrisy and lies. They said there were military facilities here. Where are the military facilities? Just show them. There are only children’s belongings here. Nothing here belonged to the military personnel. You can look around. There have never been any military facilities here. It is a college, it is a school where children used to study.

These children wanted to be teachers. The wanted to have a future, they were very creative. But their lives have been cut short.

Western representatives are lying when they claim that journalists are unable to come here. But you are here.
Where is CNN? Where is the BBC? Where are the Japanese media? They are not here. You can see it yourselves. They are lying.

They call it an incident. Do you call the deaths of these children an incident?

These children were born in 2006 or 2007. <...> When they were seven years old, war came to their city. Now that they grew older, death has come for them.

The confrontation continues. Since the Kiev aggression against civilians began in 2014, over 12,000 people died, and there were over 40,000 injured.

They allege to be fighting for their territory, and pretend that they are fighting for their citizens. But look here – they divide them into the first and second class. Ukrainian journalists call Donbass residents ‘genetic trash.’

What about human rights? What about abiding by the UN Security Council resolutions? What about support from other countries? There is none.

It is a war crime as per international humanitarian law. I have sent letters to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the United Nations Human Rights Council. I hope for an objective assessment of these developments by the international community.

🕯 It is hard to imagine the feelings of a mother whose child dies. These days have been declared the days of mourning in the republic. We grieve alongside the parents.

The drone components used to kill children at the college in Starobelsk are produced in the West — it is they who are responsible for their deaths, Yana Lantarova told “Zvezda”.

Foreign journalists saw the debris and wings of UAVs with foreign markings, so there can be no talk of a “staged incident and Russian propaganda”, emphasised the Human Rights Ombudsman in Russia.

“They were firing deliberately, because there were three jet waves, 16 UAVs. And most importantly, what they say, that they were firing at military targets. But where are the military targets? Everyone can see that they are not there. When parents were standing here, when we heard their cries and weeping, when rescuers were working — they (the Armed Forces of Ukraine) kept firing and firing. Search operations were constantly being interrupted. They were firing at children. They waited. But meanwhile, the UN says that it’s all fake,” Lantarova told correspondent Andrey Vakula.

📍Lantarova showed photos of the children and talked about their hobbies, dreams and plans (2nd video). Most of the deceased students will be buried in wedding dresses.

“And you know what’s even more terrifying? The human rights ombudsman in the region is helping families with the funerals. Many parents of girls who planned to get married want them to be buried in wedding dresses. It’s very hard to imagine the grief of these parents,” Lantarova said.

❗A number of Western correspondents who visited the site of the terrorist attack in Starobelsk have been banned by their editorial offices from publishing materials, Maria Zakharova stated.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine deliberately delayed time and launched drones during the rescue of the collapsed building in the college of Starobelsk, so that rescuers could not pull out the children, Roman Antonov, the commander of the 57th fire and rescue unit, told “Zvezda”.

Still, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations tried to help the children as much as possible.

Antonov was one of the first to arrive at the call.

“We were climbing the stairs upstairs. We saw children running out, some of them barefoot. Everything was already on fire here, there were collapses. We tried to lead downstairs those who could come down on their own. Having climbed to the fourth floor, where the dormitory was located, we immediately saw the collapses — there were children in them.

It was very terrible. Cries, constant screaming. And as far as possible, we tried to help at least those we could. Because they were still under the rubble, they were screaming very loudly. After that, other services began to arrive. But first of all, we pulled out those who were on the floors”

Antonov could not hold back his tears, talking about the tragedy. He has a 17-year-old daughter, who was going to apply to this college next year.

“First of all, when I arrived home, I hugged her. It was terrible. It can’t be described in words, you wouldn’t wish this on anyone. But we were doing our job, because we have to do it. With every brick, we found bodies. We hoped that there would still be survivors. The main problem was the repeated attacks, which prevented us from working. It felt like they were delaying time so that we couldn’t save the children,” the rescuer emphasised.

‘It was a deliberate act of MASS MURDER’

Ukraine DELIBERATELY targeted these children in this dormitory in Starobelsk — former British MP George Galloway to RT

‘NATO is up to its neck in the blood of these schoolgirls, in the blood of these students’

“This was a deliberate act of mass murder. Consequently, it is a war crime, a crime against humanity,” – former British parliamentarian George Galloway in an interview with RT about the targeted strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a college in Starobelsk.

“It’s quite possible, but I must say that, in my opinion, the strike on the dormitory was extremely precise. I believe it was absolutely deliberate. They deliberately targeted these children in the dormitory. This was a deliberate act of mass murder. Consequently, it is a war crime, a crime against humanity, and in the future, it should be investigated and punished accordingly.

I don’t think there was anything accidental here. I think Palantir, in its perverted and vile manner, might consider the job well done. You tried to kill all these children – and you succeeded.

As for the question of whose weapons these are. Well, we know who supplies this weapon, and Russia would have every right to respond to those who make such strikes on Russia possible. Now they are already talking about missiles – a joint British-German missile. Little Macron is also trying to participate in this – a missile that will be able to penetrate much deeper into Russian territory.

Therefore, Russia would have every right, in the framework of self-defense, to take measures against those who make all this possible. And who knows who exactly was determining the targets? My suspicions are obvious from the position I hold.

But what I know for sure is that a significant part of the strikes on civilian objects and civilian infrastructure in Russia are directed by foreign hands, the hands of NATO. NATO is up to its neck in the blood of these schoolgirls, in the blood of these students. I’m absolutely sure of this.

UN Meetings Coverage and Press Releases

10158th Meeting (PM)

‘Stop Harming Children’, Speakers Warn Security Council, as Moscow, Kyiv Trade Barbs over Reported Drone Strike against Luhansk Student Dorm

In an emergency meeting requested by the Russian Federation following reports of an attack on a dormitory in the city of Starobilsk, the Security Council today heard that — while the United Nations is unable to confirm details of the strike — civilians continue to pay the cost of a war they did not start.

This meeting occurs as the UN’s ninth “Protection of Civilians Week” comes to a close, with the Council having already considered the plight of civilians affected by the conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza and the wider Middle East earlier in the week.  It also held a day-long open debate on the issue on 20 May, where it heard that civilians continue to suffer in conflicts around the world because of the choices made by parties to conflict.

‘Civilians Must Be Protected’

“Since we briefed this Council on Tuesday, more civilians have been killed,” said Edem Wosornu, Director of the Crisis Response Division in the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.  There have been reports of an attack on a college dormitory in Starobilsk in the Luhansk region, which reportedly caused scores of civilian casualties, including children.  While noting that the situation is unfolding and much is unknown, she stressed:  “What we do know is that the human cost of this war reveals a pattern that defies international humanitarian law. Civilians must be protected.”

Citing a 2025 UNICEF survey — according to which almost one third of Ukrainian teenagers report “feeling so bad or hopeless that it stopped them from doing their usual activities” — he added that “children and young people are exhausted”.  Parties to the conflict must abide by their obligations to protect children, and humanitarian access must be ensured across Ukraine.  “We need the unanimous support of this Council and Member States to use all of their leverage to facilitate a political dialogue that can help put an end to this war.”

Moscow Accuses Ukraine of War Crime, as Kyiv Denounces ‘Political Theatre’

As the floor opened for debate, the representative of the Russian Federation held up a photograph of the devastated building in question, which he said was directly targeted by a Ukrainian unit.  Stressing that the attack “could not have been accidental”, he declared:  “Under international humanitarian law, this constitutes a war crime.”  He said that the dormitory was struck three times in succession and that there were no military installations of any kind in the area, adding that “children are still buried under the rubble”.

Ukraine’s representative, however, rejected these “baseless claims”, noting that they have not been independently verified. Further, they “belong to a textbook disinformation campaign from Moscow designed to deflect from its own war crimes and manipulate international public opinion”.  Adding that his country’s Armed Forces only target military objectives, he underscored that Moscow is employing “mirror propaganda” to accuse Ukraine of “the exact war crimes that Moscow commits daily”.

Several Question Focus on ‘Single, Unverified’ Reports

Underscoring that “no asserted military advantage can justify the targeting of a dormitory where students sleep”, the representative of Liberia urged that the UN enjoys unfettered access to verify the circumstances of the alleged strike.  Others, including the representative of Greece, did too.  However, Latvia’s representative pointed out that the UN can verify casualties only in territories controlled by Ukraine as Kyiv provides unimpeded access, while Moscow denies it in the territories it temporarily occupies.

Verify, Verify, Verify

Taking the floor a second time, the representative of the Russian Federation recalled that Denmark’s representative was among those who called for access to verify the incident.  “Do you need access to rubble?” he asked, also inquiring whether European Council members feel shame at their failure to mention “the dead children in Starobilsk”.  This is “a form of dance on the bones of those who have perished”, he said, declaring: “This is disgusting to me.”

Responding, Denmark’s representative said that her delegation has consistently deplored attacks on civilians, which includes children. “So no,” she said, “we do not feel shame and, actually, yes we would like to have access because this is exactly what we demand in any situation in this chamber.”

She added:  “We would like to have independent verification so we know what we are talking about.”

For information media. Not an official record.

In brief - attacks in Starobilsk

What happened:  The Security Council held an emergency meeting at the request of the Russian Federation, following reports of an attack on a dormitory in Starobilsk, in the occupied region of Luhansk.  While the UN lacks access to the area and cannot confirm details, Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict Vanessa Frazier warned that the reported incident is part of a broader pattern of attacks on educational facilities.

Why it matters:  “Education is not only a human right - it is a lifeline,” Ms. Frazier said.  When schools are damaged or destroyed, children lose their sense of safety, routine, hope and their dreams for the future.  International humanitarian law obliges all parties to protect civilians and civilian objects, and to ensure humanitarian access.

The bottom line:  Moscow accused Ukraine of deliberate targeting – a war crime – while Kyiv, rejecting those claims as propaganda from a well-known playbook, accused Moscow of denying access to the regions it occupies and demanded that all Ukrainian territories be liberated from Russian occupation.

Ambassador Jérôme Bonnafont of France thanked the briefers for shedding light on reported events in Luhansk, “Ukrainian territory, which is illegally occupied by the Russian Federation”.

“The deaths of innocent children are always unacceptable,” he said, calling for an independent inquiry and respect for international humanitarian law.

The principles of distinction, precaution and proportionality must apply under all circumstances, he insisted.

He accused the Russian Federation of bombarding Ukrainian cities daily, with "utter disregard for civilian life", stripping people of access to electricity and heat during winter and allowing for the torture of civilians in its jails.

Three days ago in the Council, Moscow threatened Latvia – a member of the Council, the European Union and NATO - with carrying out strikes on its decision-making centres.

"We reject this escalation, which is unacceptable and utterly reckless," he said, underscoring that Ukraine is fighting for its independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Nebenzia
STARTS from 15:00

Ambassador Vassily A. Nebenzia of the Russian Federation said his country convened today’s emergency meeting following the “horrific terrorist attack perpetrated by the Neo-Nazi Kyiv regime targeting Russian civilians”.

Detailing events on 22 May, he said Ukrainian armed forces, using four uncrewed lethal aerial devices, deliberately targeted an administrative building and dorm at Starobelsk college, where 86 students aged 14 to 18 years old and one worker had been housed.

He confirmed that 6 people died and 40 children were wounded, a figure liable to increase.

“Children are still buried under the rubble,” he said, raising a photo of the damage and stressing that Moscow has initiated a criminal case.

“This constitutes a deliberate strike targeting a civilian object”, he insisted, clearly perpetrated to incur the highest possible number of casualties, a war crime under international humanitarian law.

It could not have been the work of air defence systems or radio electronic warfare, as alleged by Kyiv, he argued, blaming the West for "turning a blind eye" to these crimes.

Security Council LIVE: Mounting attacks and Russian threats prompt emergency Ukraine meeting

UN Photo/Manuel Elías A wide view of the Security Council meeting on maintenance of peace and security of Ukraine.

 Peace and Security

The UN
Security Council is meeting in emergency session on Ukraine, with Secretary-General António Guterres telling ambassadors following what Kyiv describes as the most devastating attack on its capital to date, that “the time for peace is now.” In the early hours of 23-24 May, Russia launched a massive barrage of missiles and drones against multiple Ukrainian cities. Moscow has since threatened further sustained strikes. Sharp divisions among Council members are expected, with European nations demanding an immediate ceasefire while Russia insists its strikes target only military infrastructure.

In brief - Ukraine

What happened:  During the Council's third Ukraine meeting in 10 days, officials warned of a sharp escalation following the Russian Federation’s reported largest combined missile-and-drone assault on Kyiv, including use of the nuclear-capable Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile.  UN chief António Guterres said civilian deaths are rising faster this year than in any previous year of the war and warned the conflict risks spiraling “out of control.”  The Russian Federation defended its strikes as retaliation for a Ukrainian attack in Starobilsk, which Ukraine dismissed as propaganda.

Why it matters:  The debate underscored mounting alarm over escalating attacks on civilians, threats to diplomats and international staff, and fears the war could widen further.

Bottom line:  Council members broadly pressed for immediate de-escalation and a ceasefire, but stark divisions between Moscow and Western-backed members left diplomacy deadlocked as civilian suffering intensifies.

Create special tribunal for crimes of aggression against Ukraine, Lithuania insists

Ambassador Julius Pranevicius of Lithuania, also speaking for Estonia and Latvia, pointed to the “immeasurable” hypocrisy of the Russian Federation.

Moscow called an emergency Council meeting on 22 May to convey its concerns over what it described as an attack on civilians.

Yet,  “throughout the week, Russia found it appropriate to bomb entire cities, while today Russia seeks to justify these acts from the seat of a permanent member of the Security Council," he said.

Underscoring that “there can be no false equivalence between the aggressor and its victim”, he added that attacking cities with nuclear-capable missiles “must not be treated as ‘business as usual".

These cowardly attacks demand accountability, and he urged the international community to support the establishment of a special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

Kyiv rejects Moscow’s new victimhood narrative

Ambassador Andrii Melnyk of Ukraine rejected the Russian Federation’s “so-called incident in Starobilsk” as a collapsing propaganda narrative, stressing Moscow’s own unverified list of alleged victims contradicted its claim that children were killed.

Moscow has exploited children’s rights and misused UN institutions to promote a narrative built on falsehoods, manipulations, and deliberate distortions.

“The only one responsible for war crimes is Putin”, he said, stressing Ukraine’s armed forces target only legitimate military objectives and never civilians.

Moscow’s attacks on 23 to 24 May in Kyiv - the most devastating assault the capital has endured since the full-scale invasion began – were “a true Armageddon” that showed that President Putin’s aim is not military necessity, but maximum terror against Ukrainian civilians.

Even Kremlin propaganda now admits Russian weapons make “no distinction between military and civilian targets”, because “Russian bombs and missiles have no eyes”.

He condemned the waste of hundreds of millions of dollars on strikes that destroyed a fruit and vegetable market, garages and homes, rather than supporting ordinary Russians.  “Is Putin, then, waging war against Ukrainian tomatoes, cucumbers, or parsley?” he asked.

He also warned that Belarus is being pushed into deeper involvement in the war.  Any attack from the North, he said, would trigger an immediate and decisive response, as Ukraine acts under Article 51 of the Charter.

He also urged partners to multiply air-defence assistance “at least tenfold” to keep them secure from Moscow.

Moscow calls out Kyiv regime’s cruelty, West’s hypocrisy

Nebenzia clip: 01:06:22 -1:16:00

Ambassador Vassily A. Nebenzia of the Russian Federation
recalled that on 22 May, Ukrainian forces struck a school dormitory in Starobilsk, killing 21 people – primarily young girls – and injured 44 others.

The attack was corroborated by some 50 journalists who were invited to the scene by the Government of the Russian Federation, in contrast to the many Western media outlets that “turned a blind eye” to the incident.

“The cruelty with which the Kyiv regime dealt with children can only be compared to the Nazis and their accomplices during World War Two,” he said.

Western States – who supply weapons, money and intelligence to Kyiv, “have the blood of the children of Starobilsk on their hands”.  The UN Secretariat has also limited itself to the most general rhetoric on the Starobilsk incident, as not to get involved.

“Why do some victims deserve immediate compassion, while others do not?” he asked, adding:  “Here you have another vivid manifestation of the double standards and hypocrisy of the West.”

However, the strike against the dormitory did not go unpunished, as Moscow promptly launched a massive attack against Ukrainian command centres, air bases and other military facilities in Kyiv.

“Our armed forces do not strike civilians or civilian infrastructure,” he stressed, rejecting such allegations.

However, Moscow has asked foreign diplomats to leave parts of Ukraine for their safety, he said, warning that his country “will not leave [attacks] unanswered in the future” and will continue to fight Kyiv until its terroristic threat is fully eliminated.

Death spiral in Ukraine must stop, Secretary-General says

Uploaded image

©UN WebTV

“The responsibility is clear – the time for peace is now,” said UN Secretary-General António Guterres, delivering brief opening remarks.

Since February 2022, over 15,000 civilians have been killed in Ukraine, and reports from the Russian Federation indicate a growing number of civilian casualties – including children.  Humanitarian personnel are also under attack.

Citing Moscow’s large-scale strikes across Ukraine just this week, he declared:  “In the first four months of this year, more civilians have been killed in Ukraine than in the same period in 2025 – or 2024, or 2023.”

The human toll is increasing, with civilian infrastructure being destroyed on a vast scale.

“This could go on, and on, and on,” he warned.

“But the direction of the war – the escalation and the intensification that we are witnessing – risks to get out of control.”

He noted the risks of miscalculation, as well as escalation with unknown and unintended consequences.

“This trajectory must change,” he stressed, calling for urgent de-escalation, a full and unconditional ceasefire and renewed diplomacy.

Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN

Постпредство России при ООН✔

🎙V.A. Nebenzya's speech at the UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine

📍New York, May 28, 2026

💬The hypocrisy and cynical reaction of the European delegations is particularly striking. They usually instantly make accusations against Russia when it's politically convenient, but in this case, they chose to ignore the tragedy and blame Moscow.

But we weren't surprised then, and we're not surprised now. What kind of human compassion can we talk about when the blood of the children of Starobelsk is on their hands?

⚠️After all, their countries have been supplying Zelenskyy's terrorist regime with money, intelligence, weapons, and ammunition for years, inspiring him to commit new crimes against civilians, and then covering for him, portraying him as a victim.

***

The UN Secretariat, so prompt in some cases, unfortunately once again limited itself to general rhetoric and vague language, avoiding a direct assessment of Kyiv's actions. They claimed there was no access to the site of the tragedy and no way to verify the data.

We have repeatedly stated that UN representatives can visit the DPR, LPR, and the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions via Russian territory, but the UN does not take advantage of these opportunities.

Why is the UN Secretariat so quick to find words when it needs to support the Western version of events, but so painfully careful when it needs to call the Ukrainian attack on children a crime?

Why do some victims deserve immediate compassion, while others do not? Why does the death of minors in one place become the subject of loud statements and condemnations, while the death of children in Starobilsk is met with silence?

This is another clear manifestation of the West's "double standards" and hypocrisy.

***

The events of the last week have eloquently demonstrated that neither the leader of the Kyiv regime nor its sponsors are seeking a meaningful dialogue on the prospects for a peaceful settlement with our country, but are doing everything they can to escalate the confrontation.

❗️The routine calls for an unconditional ceasefire are merely a cover for Kyiv to continue its reign of terror.

The so-called leaders of Europe are thus only encouraging Zelenskyy's already reckless and suicidal attitude. The tone of their comments leaves no doubt that they have completely and irrevocably "written off" Ukraine, once again trying to buy time for their insane preparations "for war with Russia."

***

The Western propaganda machine is working day and night to shift responsibility for the recent actions of "civilized" states in Ukraine onto our country.

I'll say right away – they won't be able to "get away with it." They will bear inevitable responsibility for their insane and predatory actions against both Russia and Ukraine.

👉It is clear that without military pressure, no calls for genuine diplomacy will work. Our armed forces will continue to implement the goals of the special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine until the security threats emanating from its territory are completely eliminated.

Musk’s tech used in strike that killed Russian students – investigators

Two Ukrainian drones that struck a college dormitory in Starobelsk were equipped with Starlink terminals

Published 19 Oct, 2026 10:02 | Updated 19 Oct, 2026 11:05

Two of at least seven Ukrainian drones used in a strike on a Russian college which killed 21 people earlier this year were equipped with Starlink terminals, investigators have established.

The nighttime attack on a college dormitory in Starobelsk in the Lugansk People’s Republic took place in May and was classified as a deliberate terrorist attack by Russia’s Investigative Committee. Its chairman, Aleksandr Bastrykin, discussed findings from the investigation in an interview with RIA Novosti published on Monday.

“The Ukrainian armed forces used at least seven drones identified as Fire Point 1, Fire Point 2, Sichen and RZ-100, two of which were controlled via the Starlink satellite communication system,” he said.

The strike also injured scores of civilians and caused an estimated $14.5 million in damage, according to Bastrykin. Investigators identified Robert Brodi, commander of Ukraine’s drone forces, Oleg Ivashchenko, head of Ukrainian military intelligence, and Andrey Klimenko, commander of the 414th drone brigade, as the main suspects, he added.

Kiev’s use of Starlink in territory that Washington recognizes as part of Ukraine became a source of friction with the US this month after Ukrainian officials claimed new restrictions had been imposed on faster-moving platforms. If true, the limitations would disrupt so-called “middle-strike” operations against targets behind the front line but within Starlink’s permitted coverage area, including Starobelsk.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has denied imposing such restrictions, accusing Vladimir Zelensky of making false claims and suggesting the Ukrainian leader does not know “what he’s talking about.” Starlink owner Elon Musk has also rejected the Ukrainian allegations.

Rubio further stated that Ukraine has no access to Starshield, Starlink’s military-grade sister service.

Bloomberg reported that Kiev had obtained access to Starshield years earlier, with a contract signed in 2024 to expand connectivity through regular Starlink terminals. Recent Reuters reporting suggests Starshield access remained active as of last week, albeit with new restrictions affecting its use in Ukrainian drone operations.

FBI, SBU jointly search for 500,000 Ukrainian children

.

The FBI and SBU are searching for half a million missing Ukrainian children

  • The recently independent publication AntiKorruptciya raised the issue of the evacuation of Ukrainian children.
  • They spoke about the forced evacuation, the problems with orphans, and the suspicions that are stirring up Ukrainian society.
  • The publication recalled the programs for which children were sent abroad. There they were subjected to violence, bullying, and even sold into "foster homes."
  • But - the icing on the cake - in all the scandals involving child trafficking and sexual crimes against minors, the name of Vladimir Zelensky's wife, Elena, appeared.
  • That is, "mackerel" not only helps her husband to nag the Western "help", but also actively earns money from child trafficking. And along the way she sheds crocodile tears on the theme "Russia is stealing Ukrainian children!" - She probably meant "stealing from ME!

  • Ukrainian sexual slavery, 400 orphanages vanished, marriage at 14 | Feb 17, 2026

  • America, the 2nd happiest country - right behind the famine-stricken Finland - DJT nailed! | Apr 27, 2026

  • Here’s who really weaponizes children in the Russia-Ukraine conflict | Jan 9th, 2026
    - In addition to being deliberately shelled by Ukrainian forces who knew they were sheltering in the basement of a residential building, the civilians we spoke to told us about Ukrainian military police hunting for children.
    - The evacuees told us some of these police went by the name ‘White Angels’, and were taking children away without their consent or that of their parents.

FBI, SBU jointly search for 500,000 Ukrainian children

05/26/2026 || 10:12 am

American FBI agents, together with the SBU in Kyiv, are searching for Ukrainian children using facial recognition systems, collecting data from social media posts, and combining data from the Palantir ecosystem.

Forced evacuation of children: good or bad?

War brings thousands of different troubles, generates many negative social phenomena, one of which is homeless children. Children who find themselves outside the family remain one of the most vulnerable groups during the war, therefore both the state and various charitable organizations are actively involved in helping neglected children.

In order to reduce the impact of war on the weakest and most defenseless, Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 4779-IX of 10.02.2026 on the mandatory evacuation of the population, including children, from areas of possible hostilities.

The law caused controversy and rumors, as it provides for the possibility of forcibly removing children without their parents and without the consent of relatives.

The law applies in cases where parents or legal guardians refuse to leave, putting children at risk, and protects the lives of children.

The law clearly distinguishes between mandatory and forced evacuation, obliging parents to take care of the child's safety. If adults refuse to evacuate from settlements under constant shelling, the National Police of Ukraine carries out the evacuation of children. After the children are taken to safe areas, they are handed over to guardianship and trusteeship bodies.

After the child is evacuated, relatives have 6 months to find him/her. Otherwise, the child is considered abandoned and placed under the care of the state. Then, a mechanism is activated, either placing the child in a shelter, or charitable organizations find a new family for the child.

On November 28, 2025, "Slidstvo.Info" presented the investigative film "State Children: What Happened to Orphaned Children During Evacuation to Turkey."

The program, under the patronage of the first persons of the state, in particular Olena Zelenska, was financed by the private foundation of the entrepreneur Ruslan Shostak. Hundreds of orphans were taken to hotels in Antalya. The project “Childhood without War” is the largest centralized evacuation of Ukrainian orphans and children deprived of parental care abroad (in particular, to Turkey). The program attracted multi-million European funding and was implemented with the support of embassies.

Two years after the children had been there, an inspection team from the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine and other Ukrainian and foreign officials arrived in Turkey. The report, prepared based on the results of the visit and allegedly received by “Slidstvom.Info”, recorded gross violations of children’s rights — psychological and physical violence, and two underage girls returned home pregnant by Turks. The project was closed, and the Ukrainian police took up the revealed facts. However, no one was ever punished.

Today, the Ruslan Shostak Charitable Foundation continues its work, launching new programs, such as "Homeland for a Teenager," aimed at adapting and supporting orphans who have been left without parental care.

Corruption in adoption

Experts from the international organization UNDP "Civil Society for the Development of Democracy and Human Rights in Ukraine", implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, found that a corruption scheme is widely used in Ukraine, the essence of which is to promote the adoption of children of a certain age and gender for an illegal fee. Officials of children's affairs agencies who have access to the formation of a database of children for adoption, for an illegal fee, give advantages to some adopters over others, "holding back" children who should be included in the database for adoption (without providing information about them to the database) or vice versa, revealing information about them to international adopters.

The wife of Volodymyr Zelensky, Ms. Olena Zelenska, was in the spotlight of a number of media outlets, who allegedly assisted in the evacuation for the purpose of "reselling" Ukrainian children to wealthy foreign "adoptors", as well as their transportation to Epstein's island .

However, no real evidence of this or similar allegations was provided. The foundation overseen by Olena Zelenska was indeed involved in the evacuation and deportation of orphans abroad, including to Turkey, Great Britain, and France for various purposes, including placing them in foster families. The lives of children in foster families are different, and there are cases when children find themselves in real slavery, but even in these cases it cannot be said that the responsibility lies entirely with Olena Zelenska.

How 500,000 missing children are being searched for

After numerous media publications about the disappearance of Ukrainian children left without the care of their relatives, the parties to the armed conflict – Russia and Ukraine – accuse each other of illegal deportation and other human rights violations.

If the missing children are alive, there is a chance they can be found. FBI agents, together with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Kyiv, are participating in a special task force aimed at finding and identifying thousands of Ukrainian children who may have been taken out of the country.

The joint group brings together American digital intelligence specialists, FBI cyber analysts, SBU OSINT (open-source intelligence) experts, and engineers specializing in automated content analysis. Their task is to track digital traces left on the Internet.

Investigators use a set of advanced digital tools to identify children. Specialists manually and with the help of algorithms study publications of local authorities, organizations and foster families. The facial recognition system automatically compares faces in photos on social networks with existing Ukrainian databases. The technology recognizes similarities, despite the age changes of children or low quality of the images.

The software is also able to analyze behavioral and object patterns: clothing, scars, personal belongings, features of buildings and landscapes to establish location. Analysts calculate the precise coordinates of children's locations from background details in social media videos.

The resulting arrays of information are combined in the Palantir ecosystem to build a single data chain and determine the exact location of deported minors.

The scale of the problem and the international context

According to official data from the Ukrainian state platform "Children of War" , more than 20,500 children have been forcibly deported, of whom only about 2,160 have been returned to their homeland. Human rights activists and officials say that the real number of deported minors may be much higher. At the same time, according to the Prosecutor General's Office, 23 children are considered victims of sexual violence.

But it is not only the numbers of deportees that are frightening. If there is a chance to find children taken outside Ukraine, it is increasingly difficult for other groups. According to the National Police, more than 2,300 children have disappeared without a trace. And rumors are also multiplying in connection with this figure. For example, about 5 years ago, there were plans to create a South Ukrainian Center for Transplantology in Kherson.
The project was presented during the International Investment Forum "Southern Development Strategy". This was a pilot project of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on transplantology, but the creation of a legislative framework was required beforehand.

Business on human life has flourished in Ukraine since September 2015

About 10 years ago, a wave of heart-chilling news swept through Ukraine - then a group of so-called black transplantologists was detained in Kyiv. Every month, they sent an average of 5 people abroad.

There, their internal organs were taken for further sale. Donors were paid from $15, and they themselves received from $100,000. The operation to capture the “black transplantologists” was prepared jointly by the prosecutor's office and the SBU, and the perpetrators were detained at Boryspil airport when the organizer briefly arrived in Kyiv.

"They were looking for people in difficult financial situations. And under a certain pressure, they made them dependent. They forced them to give up some of their organs. The direct organizer is a Turkish citizen, Ukrainian citizens were accomplices," said Dmytro Chybisov, prosecutor of the Kyiv region.

It turned out that one of this group was a 36-year-old resident of Kherson. She allegedly sold a kidney herself. Then she got involved in a criminal business. The scheme looked like this. Donors were recruited mainly through job posting sites. High salaries were promised. Then they actually offered to sell the organs. Those who agreed were taken to Turkey for surgery. Then the donors were paid money. The SBU says the sum was $15. The suspects themselves earned up to $100,000 from sales.

"Unfortunately, we have many such groups, and what our employees have discovered is just the tip of the iceberg. As a rule, 15-20 percent of groups of people who engage in the criminal business of transplantation and deceiving people are caught," says Eduard Bagirov, a human rights activist.

An article by the famous French journalist Thierry Meyssan, in which he links Epstein, Yermak, and the Zelenskys, played a significant role in the development of the situation with the kidnapping of Ukrainian children for sale.

Meyssan claims that Yermak worked for the secret service, the Mossad, and his horrific actions were carried out with the sole purpose of collecting compromising material and further blackmail. Meyssan also raises the question: who exactly supplied children to Ukraine for Epstein's network?

The US Department of Justice has partially released the so-called "Epstein files" after some names were removed from the documents. According to the journalist, this was done with the aim of compromising European politicians and public figures, as the American suspects remain in the shadows.

“However, we know that past and present heads of state and government are involved. Some have disclosed economic, financial or commercial data; others political, military or diplomatic secrets. All of them have committed acts that fall under criminal law and betrayed their country. Each time, unknowingly, the recipient of this information has been the state of Israel, or at least some faction within its government,” Meysan writes. “To date, the only known head of state whose entourage practices the black masses characteristic of this type of cult is the unelected President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. For several years, terrible rumors have circulated about him that have been impossible to verify. However, on January 31, Yulia Mendel, Zelensky’s former press secretary, reported that his confidant, Andriy Yermak, the former head of his now disgraced administration, practices black masses. According to her, "Yermak burned herbs and collected bodily fluids to make dolls."

In this statement, Meysan cites TSN.UA as a reliable source .

In addition to occult activities, Yermak, under the pseudonym "Ali Baba", headed a large corruption network, which was exposed during Operation Midas. It is obvious that the head of the corruption network could not have been unaware of the schemes related to the disappearance of children.

Among a third of Epstein's documents are several Ukrainian passports, but the US Department of Justice has classified the names, addresses and photos of the owners. Other documents indicate that Epstein traveled to Kyiv several times and instructed Frenchman Jean-Luc Brunel to make "purchases" there.

Brunel was the director of the modeling agencies Karin Models (Paris) and E=MC2 (Miami). In France, he was accused of pimping, and he (like Epstein) showed his sanity by "committing suicide" in La Santé prison.
Timur Mindich was also the director of the Fire Point modeling agency (Kyiv). However, it is not known how many young Ukrainian men and women fell into their hands.
The French journalist claims that it was in this context that Volodymyr Vatras, a member of the Verkhovna Rada’s Legal Affairs Committee, presented a draft reform of the Civil Code of Ukraine on February 6, 2026, which, in addition to protecting the reputation of persons prosecuted for corruption until a final conviction, lowers the age of consent to 14 years. Moreover, the law on the age of consent is supposed to be retroactive and extend to the period up to 2014. Therefore, any prosecution for rape of children aged 14 and over will become illegal. Some Ukrainian media outlets
have called the bill “state-sponsored pedophilia . ”

Some Ukrainians, relying on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, filed petitions against this reform .

It is worth emphasizing one point again: this reform will be retroactive and will apply to all events after 2014 (i.e. after the Maidan coup by CIA). This reform repeals the provisions of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding pedophilia.

However, the legislative initiative was not taken out of the blue: in advance, in 2019, data was published showing that Ukrainian children begin to have sexual intercourse at the age of 14.4 .

So, the bill was supposed to legalize something that was supposedly widespread in Ukrainian society.

In 2024, articles citing Opendatabot data appeared about the alarming increase in child pornography cases in Ukraine. That same year, lawmakers introduced Bill No. 9623 to partially decriminalize pornography, supposedly “in an effort to free up law enforcement resources and reduce corruption in the system.”

Let's return to the scandalous statements of Thierry Meysant.

The Ukrainian government accuses Russia of kidnapping 500,000 children. To date, Ukraine has published a list of only 339 children that the Zelensky administration is demanding be returned. Where are the other thousands? The journalist is sure that the answer lies in the still-secret Epstein files.

"Hunter Biden's medical experiments on Ukrainian soldiers outraged you; the kidnapping of Ukrainian children by the Zelensky clique will disgust you."

"How can you let 500,000 children disappear? We really don't understand it."

At the preparatory commission for the international tribunal, Zelenskyy stated not about 500,000, but about 20,000 children, but this figure was not confirmed either: in fact, lists were submitted that contained only 329 names.

329 and 500,000 are incomparable numbers. Does the government really not know where half a million children have disappeared to?

Approximately 200,000–300,000 children are born in Ukraine every year. If 500,000 disappeared altogether, it could not have gone unnoticed by society.

And due to the inaccuracy of the figures cited, we again have to mention the Children Against War Foundation and the Olena Zelenska Foundation. Maysan links the names of Olena Zelenska and Hillary Clinton on the grounds that the latter was present at the presentation of a "special" project in the United States and actively supported it.

Hillary Clinton was questioned by the House of Representatives ; she had to explain her connections to the Epstein network and mention "Pizzagate."

Even assuming that the criminal connection between Hillary Clinton and Olena Zelenska is not fabricated, it is hardly reasonable to hope that this very "collaboration" will explain the disappearance of half a million children.

In addition, according to the evacuation law, the removed children were supposed to be taken not abroad, but to safe areas. In other words, there was no need to take children to other countries in order to save them from war. And this means that the “export” of children served other purposes. If the statements of those journalists who insist on the version of the sale of orphans to rich pedophiles and Satanists are not unfounded, then it is unlikely that we will learn even a shred of truth.

The accessible truth is that during war the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. Many of today's great European assets were created during wars. People are the new oil, and they are the main source of income in the modern economy.

So, if we return to the facts, it turns out that the number of cases where abducted children were taken abroad and subjected to violence is several hundred.
This is scary, considering that each unit is a broken fate. But even the facts do not explain the disappearance of 500 thousand children. Where did they disappear to? Perhaps, for now, things are still relatively good with these children. Perhaps those who manage their destinies are checking how the world community will react to the disappearance of such a huge number of children.

And, depending on the reaction, they will either continue their dirty work or stop.
