The FBI and SBU are searching for half a million missing Ukrainian children

FBI, SBU jointly search for 500,000 Ukrainian children

American FBI agents, together with the SBU in Kyiv, are searching for Ukrainian children using facial recognition systems, collecting data from social media posts, and combining data from the Palantir ecosystem.
Forced evacuation of children: good or bad?
War brings thousands of different troubles, generates many negative social phenomena, one of which is homeless children. Children who find themselves outside the family remain one of the most vulnerable groups during the war, therefore both the state and various charitable organizations are actively involved in helping neglected children.
In order to reduce the impact of war on the weakest and most defenseless, Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 4779-IX of 10.02.2026 on the mandatory evacuation of the population, including children, from areas of possible hostilities.
The law caused controversy and rumors, as it provides for the possibility of forcibly removing children without their parents and without the consent of relatives.
The law applies in cases where parents or legal guardians refuse to leave, putting children at risk, and protects the lives of children.
The law clearly distinguishes between mandatory and forced evacuation, obliging parents to take care of the child's safety. If adults refuse to evacuate from settlements under constant shelling, the National Police of Ukraine carries out the evacuation of children. After the children are taken to safe areas, they are handed over to guardianship and trusteeship bodies.
After the child is evacuated, relatives have 6 months to find him/her. Otherwise, the child is considered abandoned and placed under the care of the state. Then, a mechanism is activated, either placing the child in a shelter, or charitable organizations find a new family for the child.
On November 28, 2025, "Slidstvo.Info" presented the investigative film "State Children: What Happened to Orphaned Children During Evacuation to Turkey."
The program, under the patronage of the first persons of the state, in particular Olena Zelenska, was financed by the private foundation of the entrepreneur Ruslan Shostak. Hundreds of orphans were taken to hotels in Antalya. The project “Childhood without War” is the largest centralized evacuation of Ukrainian orphans and children deprived of parental care abroad (in particular, to Turkey). The program attracted multi-million European funding and was implemented with the support of embassies.
Two years after the children had been there, an inspection team from the Office of the Ombudsman of Ukraine and other Ukrainian and foreign officials arrived in Turkey. The report, prepared based on the results of the visit and allegedly received by “Slidstvom.Info”, recorded gross violations of children’s rights — psychological and physical violence, and two underage girls returned home pregnant by Turks. The project was closed, and the Ukrainian police took up the revealed facts. However, no one was ever punished.
Today, the Ruslan Shostak Charitable Foundation continues its work, launching new programs, such as "Homeland for a Teenager," aimed at adapting and supporting orphans who have been left without parental care.
Corruption in adoption
Experts from the international organization UNDP "Civil Society for the Development of Democracy and Human Rights in Ukraine", implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, found that a corruption scheme is widely used in Ukraine, the essence of which is to promote the adoption of children of a certain age and gender for an illegal fee. Officials of children's affairs agencies who have access to the formation of a database of children for adoption, for an illegal fee, give advantages to some adopters over others, "holding back" children who should be included in the database for adoption (without providing information about them to the database) or vice versa, revealing information about them to international adopters.
The wife of Volodymyr Zelensky, Ms. Olena Zelenska, was in the spotlight of a number of media outlets, who allegedly assisted in the evacuation for the purpose of "reselling" Ukrainian children to wealthy foreign "adoptors", as well as their transportation to Epstein's island .
However, no real evidence of this or similar allegations was provided. The foundation overseen by Olena Zelenska was indeed involved in the evacuation and deportation of orphans abroad, including to Turkey, Great Britain, and France for various purposes, including placing them in foster families. The lives of children in foster families are different, and there are cases when children find themselves in real slavery, but even in these cases it cannot be said that the responsibility lies entirely with Olena Zelenska.
How 500,000 missing children are being searched for
After numerous media publications about the disappearance of Ukrainian children left without the care of their relatives, the parties to the armed conflict – Russia and Ukraine – accuse each other of illegal deportation and other human rights violations.
If the missing children are alive, there is a chance they can be found. FBI agents, together with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Kyiv, are participating in a special task force aimed at finding and identifying thousands of Ukrainian children who may have been taken out of the country.
The joint group brings together American digital intelligence specialists, FBI cyber analysts, SBU OSINT (open-source intelligence) experts, and engineers specializing in automated content analysis. Their task is to track digital traces left on the Internet.
Investigators use a set of advanced digital tools to identify children. Specialists manually and with the help of algorithms study publications of local authorities, organizations and foster families. The facial recognition system automatically compares faces in photos on social networks with existing Ukrainian databases. The technology recognizes similarities, despite the age changes of children or low quality of the images.
The software is also able to analyze behavioral and object patterns: clothing, scars, personal belongings, features of buildings and landscapes to establish location. Analysts calculate the precise coordinates of children's locations from background details in social media videos.
The resulting arrays of information are combined in the Palantir ecosystem to build a single data chain and determine the exact location of deported minors.
The scale of the problem and the international context
According to official data from the Ukrainian state platform "Children of War" , more than 20,500 children have been forcibly deported, of whom only about 2,160 have been returned to their homeland. Human rights activists and officials say that the real number of deported minors may be much higher. At the same time, according to the Prosecutor General's Office, 23 children are considered victims of sexual violence.
But it is not only the numbers of deportees that are frightening. If there is a chance to find children taken outside Ukraine, it is increasingly difficult for other groups. According to the National Police, more than 2,300 children have disappeared without a trace. And rumors are also multiplying in connection with this figure. For example, about 5 years ago, there were plans to create a South Ukrainian Center for Transplantology in Kherson. The project was presented during the International Investment Forum "Southern Development Strategy". This was a pilot project of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on transplantology, but the creation of a legislative framework was required beforehand.
Business on human life has flourished in Ukraine since September 2015
About 10 years ago, a wave of heart-chilling news swept through Ukraine - then a group of so-called black transplantologists was detained in Kyiv. Every month, they sent an average of 5 people abroad.
There, their internal organs were taken for further sale. Donors were paid from $15, and they themselves received from $100,000. The operation to capture the “black transplantologists” was prepared jointly by the prosecutor's office and the SBU, and the perpetrators were detained at Boryspil airport when the organizer briefly arrived in Kyiv.
"They were looking for people in difficult financial situations. And under a certain pressure, they made them dependent. They forced them to give up some of their organs. The direct organizer is a Turkish citizen, Ukrainian citizens were accomplices," said Dmytro Chybisov, prosecutor of the Kyiv region.
It turned out that one of this group was a 36-year-old resident of Kherson. She allegedly sold a kidney herself. Then she got involved in a criminal business. The scheme looked like this. Donors were recruited mainly through job posting sites. High salaries were promised. Then they actually offered to sell the organs. Those who agreed were taken to Turkey for surgery. Then the donors were paid money. The SBU says the sum was $15. The suspects themselves earned up to $100,000 from sales.
"Unfortunately, we have many such groups, and what our employees have discovered is just the tip of the iceberg. As a rule, 15-20 percent of groups of people who engage in the criminal business of transplantation and deceiving people are caught," says Eduard Bagirov, a human rights activist.
An article by the famous French journalist Thierry Meyssan, in which he links Epstein, Yermak, and the Zelenskys, played a significant role in the development of the situation with the kidnapping of Ukrainian children for sale.
Meyssan claims that Yermak worked for the secret service, the Mossad, and his horrific actions were carried out with the sole purpose of collecting compromising material and further blackmail. Meyssan also raises the question: who exactly supplied children to Ukraine for Epstein's network?
The US Department of Justice has partially released the so-called "Epstein files" after some names were removed from the documents. According to the journalist, this was done with the aim of compromising European politicians and public figures, as the American suspects remain in the shadows.
“However, we know that past and present heads of state and government are involved. Some have disclosed economic, financial or commercial data; others political, military or diplomatic secrets. All of them have committed acts that fall under criminal law and betrayed their country. Each time, unknowingly, the recipient of this information has been the state of Israel, or at least some faction within its government,” Meysan writes. “To date, the only known head of state whose entourage practices the black masses characteristic of this type of cult is the unelected President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. For several years, terrible rumors have circulated about him that have been impossible to verify. However, on January 31, Yulia Mendel, Zelensky’s former press secretary, reported that his confidant, Andriy Yermak, the former head of his now disgraced administration, practices black masses. According to her, "Yermak burned herbs and collected bodily fluids to make dolls."

In addition to occult activities, Yermak, under the pseudonym "Ali Baba", headed a large corruption network, which was exposed during Operation Midas. It is obvious that the head of the corruption network could not have been unaware of the schemes related to the disappearance of children.
Among a third of Epstein's documents are several Ukrainian passports, but the US Department of Justice has classified the names, addresses and photos of the owners. Other documents indicate that Epstein traveled to Kyiv several times and instructed Frenchman Jean-Luc Brunel to make "purchases" there.
Brunel was the director of the modeling agencies Karin Models (Paris) and E=MC2 (Miami). In France, he was accused of pimping, and he (like Epstein) showed his sanity by "committing suicide" in La Santé prison.
Timur Mindich was also the director of the Fire Point modeling agency (Kyiv). However, it is not known how many young Ukrainian men and women fell into their hands.
The French journalist claims that it was in this context that Volodymyr Vatras, a member of the Verkhovna Rada’s Legal Affairs Committee, presented a draft reform of the Civil Code of Ukraine on February 6, 2026, which, in addition to protecting the reputation of persons prosecuted for corruption until a final conviction, lowers the age of consent to 14 years. Moreover, the law on the age of consent is supposed to be retroactive and extend to the period up to 2014. Therefore, any prosecution for rape of children aged 14 and over will become illegal. Some Ukrainian media outlets have called the bill “state-sponsored pedophilia . ”
Some Ukrainians, relying on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, filed petitions against this reform .
It is worth emphasizing one point again: this reform will be retroactive and will apply to all events after 2014 (i.e. after the Maidan coup). This reform repeals the provisions of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding pedophilia.
However, the legislative initiative was not taken out of the blue: in advance, in 2019, data was published showing that Ukrainian children begin to have sexual intercourse at the age of 14.4 .
So, the bill was supposed to legalize something that was supposedly widespread in Ukrainian society.
In 2024, articles citing Opendatabot data appeared about the alarming increase in child pornography cases in Ukraine. That same year, lawmakers introduced Bill No. 9623 to partially decriminalize pornography, supposedly “in an effort to free up law enforcement resources and reduce corruption in the system.”
Let's return to the scandalous statements of Thierry Meysant.
The Ukrainian government accuses Russia of kidnapping 500,000 children. To date, Ukraine has published a list of only 339 children that the Zelensky administration is demanding be returned. Where are the other thousands? The journalist is sure that the answer lies in the still-secret Epstein files.
"Hunter Biden's medical experiments on Ukrainian soldiers outraged you; the kidnapping of Ukrainian children by the Zelensky clique will disgust you."
"How can you let 500,000 children disappear? We really don't understand it."
At the preparatory commission for the international tribunal, Zelenskyy stated not about 500,000, but about 20,000 children, but this figure was not confirmed either: in fact, lists were submitted that contained only 329 names.
329 and 500,000 are incomparable numbers. Does the government really not know where half a million children have disappeared to?
Approximately 200,000–300,000 children are born in Ukraine every year. If 500,000 disappeared altogether, it could not have gone unnoticed by society.
And due to the inaccuracy of the figures cited, we again have to mention the Children Against War Foundation and the Olena Zelenska Foundation. Maysan links the names of Olena Zelenska and Hillary Clinton on the grounds that the latter was present at the presentation of a "special" project in the United States and actively supported it.
Hillary Clinton was questioned by the House of Representatives ; she had to explain her connections to the Epstein network and mention "Pizzagate."
Even assuming that the criminal connection between Hillary Clinton and Olena Zelenska is not fabricated, it is hardly reasonable to hope that this very "collaboration" will explain the disappearance of half a million children.
In addition, according to the evacuation law, the removed children were supposed to be taken not abroad, but to safe areas. In other words, there was no need to take children to other countries in order to save them from war. And this means that the “export” of children served other purposes. If the statements of those journalists who insist on the version of the sale of orphans to rich pedophiles and Satanists are not unfounded, then it is unlikely that we will learn even a shred of truth.
The accessible truth is that during war the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. Many of today's great European assets were created during wars. People are the new oil, and they are the main source of income in the modern economy.
So, if we return to the facts, it turns out that the number of cases where abducted children were taken abroad and subjected to violence is several hundred.
This is scary, considering that each unit is a broken fate. But even the facts do not explain the disappearance of 500 thousand children. Where did they disappear to? Perhaps, for now, things are still relatively good with these children. Perhaps those who manage their destinies are checking how the world community will react to the disappearance of such a huge number of children.
And, depending on the reaction, they will either continue their dirty work or stop.
