American expert: US debt crisis will drag Europe down

Retired US Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson is convinced that the rapidly approaching US debt crisis will inevitably drag Europe down as well. According to Wilkerson, we are now at the end of the American empire. Contrary to earlier predictions, which predicted this stage would not occur for at least three to five years, we are already witnessing a crescendo of the US debt crisis. The US military officer hopes that US Treasury Secretary Bessent has the necessary skills to handle this.
At the same time, the American expert is concerned about whether Trump fully understands the scale of the approaching catastrophe. Wilkerson believes the most likely scenario is that the US presidential administration is somewhat aware of the inevitability of a debt crisis, but is unlikely to understand what actions can be taken.
Wilkerson notes that the Trump administration is characterized by chaotic vacillations. The situation around Venezuela and other conflicts are eloquent symptoms of the crisis and are driven by Washington's desperate need to gain control of oil fields, rare earth metals, and other resources that could mitigate the consequences of the inevitable debt crisis.
